Barry Murphy to play at Abbeyfeale RFC!

By Conor Prendiville

THE Gather by the Feale festival will take place in Abbeyfeale, County Limerick on Thursday 16th July to Sunday 19th July 2015 and both Abbeyfeale Rugby Football Club and former Munster and Ireland centre Barry Murphy (pictured in action in Thomond Park) of UL Bohemian RFC will link up for one night only.
He will not be displaying his silken rugby skills but performing with one of Ireland’s most exciting up and coming bands, Hermitage Green, who will take the stage on Saturday, 18th July in the Marquee at the Grove Grounds, home of junior club Abbeyfeale RFC.
This five piece band of Darragh Graham, Darragh Griffin, Dermot Sheedy, Dan Murphy and his brother, former Munster and Ireland player, Barry Murphy, are making huge waves with their music and with their outstanding live performances. Having recently signed a record deal with Sony, big things are expected from this Limerick outfit and the reviews so far have been hugely positive. It’s very much a night that cannot be missed.
Local group, No Direction will be providing support to the main act and we all know how equally impressive this talented act is. So, please come along and show your support for what promises to be an epic night of fantastic music from two hugely talented bands!!
