Death of the former Munster Rugby media officer Pat Geraghty

IT is with regret and sadness that we report the death of Pat Geraghty. Pat held the role of Munster Rugby press officer for many years after moving from Leinster Rugby and was a popular member of the Irish Rugby Writers’ Association.
It was in the role of press officer that Pat enjoyed some of Munster’s greatest seasons including the Heineken Cup successes in 2006 and 2008.
Reposing at home on Wednesday, from 4pm to 8pm with prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday, in St Patrick’s Church, Celbridge, at 11am, followed by burial in Donacomper cemetery. House private on Thursday.
May he rest in peace.
