Leinster’s Joey Carbery could solve Munster’s ‘ten’ dilemma

IT looks likely that Joey Carbery will be seen in colours red with news filtering through within the last hour from the capital that his move from Leinster to Munster may be completed shortly.
It would be a sensible move for the backline utility player who has a very bright future in Irish rugby. A statement from the IRFU could be made some time tomorrow if current indications prove accurate.
It would also be something of a gamble for Leinster. They have a couple of options at ten, apart from Jonathan Sexton, but should Carberry transfer south they may also bring in new blood for the ten cover.
Munster currently have three options for out-half with the injured Tyler Bleyendaal, Ian Keatley and JJ Hanrahan all experienced in that role. Carberry’s expected arrival could see one of the three mentioned move on to other pastures.
