THOMOND 22 YOUNG MUNSTER 16
One try, three penalties and one conversion got the 16 points for Young Munster but it was not enough to prevent the black and ambers 2nds losing to Thomond in Fitzgerald Park at the week-end.
Elsewhere, Newcastle West triumphed over Bandon to win 10 points to nil. Tries from Matthew Ryan and James Kelly got the county side into winning mode.
