Shock as Cashel knock UL Bohs out of cup

NEWLY promoted Cashel took a major scalp in their first season in senior ranks by beating UL Bohemian tonight 13-3 in the Munster Senior Cup at the Tipperary venue.

Cashel were on top in a very lively first half and led at the break thanks to a try, a conversion, a penalty and a drop goal.

They failed to score again in the second period and although Aidan McNulty kicked a Bohs penalty midway through that second period, Cashel succeeded in holding on for a famous victory.
