Poor choice of words was not intentional

Thanks to those who pointed out the unfortunate choice of words in the piece regarding Keith's withdrawal from the Irish team. I can assure you that it was completely innocent of me to use that term but it being the obvious one when a player of any code opts out of a team at a late stage prior to a game, it was the first to come to mind. It would not be the intention of this website to edge towards tabloid sports journalism and the connection between the situation and term used was not spotted by me at the time of publishing the story. My sincere apologies to anybody who felt offended by it and the story was altered as soon as it was brought to our notice.
