Tony McGahan: leaving Munster?
MUNSTER Rugby has confirmed that Tony McGahan will leave Munster at the end of the current campaign. He is to move back to Australia where he has taken up an appointment as the national team's defence coach.

The reports have made the sports reports on the early Wednesday radio programmes and a Munster Rugby press conference later comfirmed the move.

Already there is speculation as to who will take over the job with Anthony Foley one option mentioned. Foley, howerver, played down that possibility at the press conference, stating that he was chuffed to hear his name mentioned as a possible replacement.

McGahan took over as head coach of Munster in 2008 having been involved with the province since 2005. He will remain with Munster until the campaign ends in May.
