LAST Saturday’s Munster win over Toulouse is coming at a cost. Captain Peter O’Mahony should know the full extent of his injury to his left shoulder later today when he meets with a specialist and Casey Laulala’s broken bone in his hand will also be assessed today. O’Mahony was replaced after 19 minutes on Saturday after over-extending his left shoulder.
It has been revealed that try-scorer Casey Laulala sustained a broken bone in his right hand and he too will meet with the specialist today for a further update.
There was positive news for academy prop Rory Burke who sustained a neck injury in the B&I Cup game after he received the all-clear following an x-ray and scan post-match.
