By the Editor
WITH all of Munster’s home games fixed for Thomond Park pre-Christmas, Limerick fans can look forward to some exciting Pro 12 and European Club Champions competition action at local headquarters.
For the stay at home fan there is also good news with all Friday games televised on TG4 and Saturday fixtures broadcast on Sky Sports (apart from three).
When the new development is complete Musgrave Park will host at least four Pro 12 games in the New Year.
Here are the Munster Pro 12 fixtures for the first 13 rounds of the competition:
Home to Edinburgh on Friday, September 5, away to Treviso on September 12 and home to Zebre on September 19 (not televised).
They are at home to the Ospreys on Saturday September 27th and then away to Leinster on Saturday, October 4 at the Aviva Stadium.
On Friday October 10th Munster entertain the Scarlets before travelling to Cardiff Blues on Saturday, November 1st.
On the week-end of November 22/23/24 Munster travel to play the Newport Gwent Dragons and this game will not be televised.
Ulster visit Thomond Park on Friday November 28th and Glasgow Warriors are visitors on Saturday, December 20th.
St Stephen’s Day sees Leinster take the field at Thomond Park and this one has a 5pm kick-off.
Munster’s first Pro 12 game of 2015 will be away to Connacht on New Year’s Day and this is followed by a trip to Italy for the (not televised) meeting with Zebre.
Incidentally, season tickets now include membership to the Munster Rugby Supporters Club. Prices from €90 for adults and €170 for families.
