Limerick shocked by sudden death of RTE’s Pat McAuliffe
- Updated: 01/04/2019

THERE has been widespread shock amongst Limerick sports fans today at the sudden death of RTE reporter Pat McAuliffe.
Pat was one of those people who always made you feel comfortable in his presence, whether it be a casual meeting, a rugby fixture or on his numerous visits to the Munster press days.
He was a master of his craft, committed to his work as a sports journalist and an absolute gentleman who will be sorely missed by those who knew him.
We offer our sincere sympathy to his family and his friends on this very sad occasion.
