Munster draw Racing, Glasgow and Leicester

MUNSTER have been drawn with Ronan O’Gara’s Racing 92, Glasgow Warriors and Leicester Tigers (the team that beat them in the 2002 final) in Pool 1 after the draw for the European Rugby Champions Cup was made in Neuchâtel, Switzerland around 1.15pm today.
In Pool 2 it is Connacht, Wasps, Toulouse and Zebre; Pool 3 sees Saracens, Toulon, Scarlets and Sale Sharks in action, Pool 4 has Leinster, Montpelier, Northampton Saints and Castres while in Pool 5 it is Exeter, Clermont, Ulster and Bordeaux.
The Munster pool is a tough one for the Irish province with no ‘easy’ games for any of the four contestants. Fellow Pro 12 side Glasgow have proven difficult opponents for the reds while both the English Premiership and the current French Top 14 teams will provide formidable opposition.
