Nine local clubs in Bank of Ireland Munster Junior Cup action this week-end

NEXT Sunday promises to be the busiest day of the season with nine Limerick clubs involved in Bank of Ireland Munster Junior Cup action. Games kick-off at 2pm.
Cashel are at home to UL Bohemians, while fresh from their victory over Newcastle West, Abbeyfeale will be hoping to advance when they travel to nearby Castleieland. Galbally will want to be at their best when they entertain MJL1 league leaders Clonmel while Newcastle West, still smarting from that Transfield Cup defeat, will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways when they entertain Kanturk.
Shannon travel to Cork to play Crosshaven while the big derby game in the city is the meeting of Richmond (pictured) and St Mary’s at the Canal Bank. The city’s other big derby game is at Liam Fitzgerald Park where Thomond welcome Garryowen while at the other end of town, Young Munster will be fancied to advance when they entertain St Senan’s at Tom Clifford Park.
In the Munster Junior Plate Bruff travel to play Waterford City.
