No shocks as Munster Senior Cup dominates the club week-end

UL Bohemian cruised into the next round of this season’s Munster Senior Challenge Cup yesterday with a deserved away win over Midleton by 29 points to no score. They led 15-0 at the break thanks to tries from Colin Ryan and Rory White and a conversion and penalty by former St Mary’s junior outhalf Alan Kiely.
The second half saw Bohs seal the victory with Ryan and White repeating their try scoring contribution and Alan Kiely converting both.
Bruff went down in Kilballyowen to a strong Sunday’s Well side. The Limerick side could only contribute a penalty to the scoreboard with the Well advancing on a 3-20 scoreline.
In the other games played in this competition yesterday, Dolphin beat Clonmel 26-3 and Nenagh went down at home to Cashel 17-22.
On September 21 Garryowen will travel to Temple Hill to play Cork Constitution and UCC will host Highfield in an all-Cork cup derby.
