UL Women make early impression in Energia AIL League

UL Bohemian women’s team have thrown down the gauntlet early in this season’s Energia All-Ireland League. They share top spot with Railway Union with three games played and they look likely to add to their good run this coming Saturday when they entertain Suttonians on the 4G surface at the University of Limerick.
Last Saturday they scored 65 points against Galwegians and already this league looks like a battle between the current top five in the table. Bohs ran in tries from Stephanie Nunan, Fiona Reidy, Claire Bennett, Laura O’Mahony, Aoife Corey, Rachel Allen, Lily Brady, Clodagh O’Halloran (2), Niamh Kavanagh and Edel Murphy against ‘Wegians with Nicole Fitzgerald kicking four conversions and Rachel Allen also adding a conversion.
