Young Munster move to second as AIL reaches round 3

YOUNG Munster march on in the Energia All Ireland League. In a thrilling encounter at Tom Clifford Park yesterday the black and ambers got a four point victory over fancied Terenure, 34 points to 30. The win propels them to second in the 1A division. Garryowen In Dublin, Garryowen were narrowly beaten by Clontarf, 29-21 while in division 1B, Shannon recorded a welcme victory over Old Wesley, 24-13 in Thomond Park.
In 1B, Old Crescent battled out a 22-22 draw away to Navan while in 2B UL Bohemians lost away to Skerries 32-26. Bruff travelled to Monkstown and lost 24-21.
This coming week-end, October 5, Young Munster are away to Cork Constitution, Garryowen are at home to City of Armagh, Shannon will host Naas, Old Crescent are at home to Banbridge, will play Belfast Harlequins, UL Bohs are at home to Rainey Old Boys and Bruff will welcome Belfast Harlequins to Kilballyowen.
