Munster have broken the mould by qualifying

MUNSTER has broken the mould as the only team not ranked in the top 8 to qualify for the Quarter Finals, this is a massive achievement by beating double Cup winners La Rochelle in the round of 16
Munster play the number one seed in the competition – Union Bordeaux are currently 2nd in the Top 14 in France. Qualifiers from Top 14 – Toulouse are number one Toulon are 3rd and Castres are 5th to complete the French quartet
France has 4 qualifiers, URC has 3, Leinster Ranked No 1, Glasgow No 2 , and Munster no 5. The premiership has One Northampton Saints (previ0oud winner) Ranked No 8.
I don’t need to tell you that the cream is rising to the top and there are no easy games in the Quarter Finals. The four French teams reflects the recent 6N win/
Park the 6N, forget the Lions – its all about our Clubs now with two lively contenders left – Munster dethroned La Rochelle on their home ground and Leinster demolished Harlequins in Croke Park to get to the Quarter Finals
The only non previous Cup winners in the competition are: Bordeaux, Castres and Glasgow, the other five have tasted glory and made history in the past and enjoyed Investec Cup wins, fame and fortune.
