Bulls 34, Munster 31
WHAT a thriler! Trailing 14-12 at the break Munster certainly showed that their DNA returned when they put on a magnificent display of rugby only to be pipped at the post.
With Casey and Crowley shining, Munster went in at half time well into this game. They shocked the home fans with a try after 20 minutes, Sean O’Brien finishing off clever move far out on the left to touch down with Jack Crowley converting. Calvin Nash had to retire with injury before the break and on 23 minutes the Bulls levelled it when Embrose Papier went clear and Pollard converted. Munster fought bravely against the altitude but they went behind on 30 minutes scrum half Embrose Papier put his side ahead with a well worked try, Pollard again adding the extras.
The second half proved to be a try-feast with two tries from Tom Ahern, and a try each from Ben O’Connor and Edwin Edogbo.
