Bruff and UL Bohemians are only local winners in AIL

IT was another diffcult day for local clubs as the AIL reached Round 8. The only winners were high-flying UL Bohemians in 2B and Bruff in 2C.
Young Munster were pipped away by St Mary’s 26-26 in a thriller and also in Division 1A, Garryowen put up a great fight in Dooradoyle, narrowly beaten by Cork Constitution 17-19.
In 1B it was another defeat for Shannon this time losing away to Old Belvedere 39-24. In 2A Old Crescent lost at home to MU Barnhall 21-29 while the winners were UL Bohemians thanks to a 33-26 home win over Dungannon 33-26 and Bruff at home in Kilballyowen had a 27-19 victory over visitors Omagh.
