Below par performance as the Sharks devour Munster
- Updated: 21/03/2026
Sharks 45, Munster 0: It was described as their poorest performance of the season, but this could well have been Munster’s worst game for many years. Next week Clayton McMillan will bring his side to play another South African side on their own sod and he will be hoping that they put up a better performance than this one in Durban. Three of the tries came in the final minutes of the game but throughout the 80 minutes they were struggling. The Sharks’ scores were shared by Makazole Mapimpi, Phepsi Buthelezi, Andre Esterhuizen, Yaw Penxetouched, Luan Giliomee, Phatu Ganyane, Grant Williams and Emile van Heerden.
Let’s hope they put up a better show next Saturday when they play the Bulls, kick-off 12 noon.
