Limerick’s city centre rugby attraction is soon to close

THE iconic International Rugby Experience in the centre of the city is to close two days before Christmas Day. The venture has confirmed it is to close its doors at the end of the year.
A statement this Thursday evening confirmed that the Limerick city centre rugby museum will cease operations and close its doors on December 23.
Apparently, the understanding between the proproietors and Limerick City and County Council was that the building would be donated freely for “for any civic purpose by Limerick City and County County after 2028.
