Munster desperate to finish league in winning style
- Updated: 09/05/2026
(Head coach Clayton McMillan will want to finish seaon in winning ways)
TONIGHT’S clash between Connacht and Munster promises to be a real cracker with both sides crying out for league points in this URC competition. Home advantage may be in the favour of the Westerners, but Munster are also desperate to finish this league in winning style.
Connacht Head coach Stuart Lancaster said: “The importance of this game is not lost on us. We’ve put ourselves back in the hunt for a playoff spot, and now we need to make sure we bring it to the final day and give ourselves a fighting chance. With a sold-out crowd I know our supporters will get behind us and the players are really excited about playing in front of them again. Interpro games always mean a lot and this one is no exception.”
