Sharks award winners for URC Players of the Season

THE Innovation Award winners have been announced with the Hollywoodbets Sharks taking home the prize for ‘Sharks Fest’.
Meanwhile, DHL Stormers forward Deon Fourie has won Try of the Season after he finished a stunning team effort against the Scarlets, full of offloads and trickery throughout.
His DHL Stormers teammate Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu also picks up an award today, after being named South African Vodacom URC Player of the Season.
Innovation Award: Hollywoodbets Sharks – SharksFest
Determined by a selection panel, clubs were rewarded for innovation by growing the game through digital fan engagement, match day experience, and social purpose.
Clubs who broke the mould and demonstrated driving a real change by increasing following and revenue were considered.

The Hollywoodbets Sharks and SharksFest were chosen for this award after they clearly demonstrated an enhanced matchday experience, while increasing fan engagement, attendance and overall revenue.
Try of the Season Powered by URC.tv: Deon Fourie (DHL Stormers)
Fourie’s finish against Scarlets has been voted Try of the Season following a social media vote by URC fans.
The veteran got on the end of a sensational team effort, jam-packed full of offloads, dummies and sizzling footwork.
There were 10 tries in total nominated, with Fourie beating some stiff competition to the award.
