The Investec Champions Cup and EPCR Challenge Cup feature clubs from the Gallagher Premiership, TOP 14 and United Rugby Championship. 42 clubs from three leagues and eight unions compete each season to win club rugby’s most elite titles.
Broadcast to over 100 territories around the world, last season EPCR’s tournaments welcomed 1.5 million fans into stadia and achieved a broadcast audience of over 70 million viewers.
The EPCR Finals Weekend is a destination rugby weekend held in a different city every year. On 23 and 24 May 2025, the rugby heartland of Cardiff will welcome the EPCR Challenge Cup Final and Investec Champions Cup Final to the iconic Principality Stadium.
This year’s Final marks the 30th edition of the pinnacle of international club rugby, back in the Welsh capital that hosted the very first final between Toulouse and Cardiff back in 1996.
In the sixth staging of the Final in the Welsh capital, two of Europe’s giants of rugby will go head-to-head for the most coveted prize in international club rugby: the Investec Champions Cup.
Northampton Saints and Union Bordeaux-Bègles will be bidding for the silverware from 2:45pm on Saturday 24 May, with Northampton Saints appearing in their third Final and Union Bordeaux-Bègles their maiden Final.
