Win for Richmond but Newcastle West again unlucky

Newcastle West 27- Thurles 29: Newcastle West have not having any luck in thr Munster Junior League this season. Narrow defeats and margins have been their lot since the start of season and a two point margin was again lot on Sunday.
They started badly with Thurles going seven points but they went in at the break with a 17-10 at the break thanks to two tries from James Guina and another touchdown from Aaron Rice plus a conversion by Shane Airey. The same player added a second try converted by Airey but in injury time Thurles went over for a try with the conversion giving the visitors victory.
Richmond 29, /Skibbereen 17: A good performance for Richmond thanks to tries from Osama Farag, James Reeves, Tom McMahon and David Clancy and three conversions by the accurate boot of Shane Purcell sealed the victory.
