Disastrous start the downfall of off-form Munster

THIS was close to the poorest performance since the start of the Heineken Cup by Munster Rugby. Going down 28 points after 22 minutes, they created an impossible mountain to climb and even though they cut the lead to 21 points with a brace of tries Bath dominated throughout.
It is difficult to put a finger on how they played so badly. The loss of Jack Crowley was not an issue, JJ Hanrahan filled the ten shirt role particularly well, but the sending off of Tadhg Beirne in the early stages could certainly have been a factor.
They certainly tried, but the combination of the elements, the support of the homesters and being over-powered by the home side at scrum time proved costly.
There will have to be a huge improvement next week when the
