Munster call on their ‘famous fan’ support for Toulon visit

MUNSTER will travel to the Stade Mayol, a multi-purpose stadium in Toulon, France, on Sunday, full of confidence. If pre-match interviews with the players this week are an indication, we can expect a huge effort from the players. Coach Mike Prendergast was showing his confidence when he assured the fans that his side will give their very best effort in a stadium that is situated overlooking the Meditaranian. The team can expect some good travellng support and there is a degree of hope that their performance will be much improved after recent defeats. Both sides are on five points in this Pool while RC Toulon are unbeaten in their home patch since last season’s quarter-final.
RC Toulon and Munster Rugby are both on 5 points in Pool 2 with a win apiece. Bath lead the way in a tight pool on six points with Castres, Munster, Toulon, and Edinburgh all on five points apiece.
